今日は東京・千葉方面は終日雨でしたね。さて、カーペンターズは意外とたくさんのカヴァー曲をレコーディングしているが、僕が好きな♪Ｊａｍｂａｌａｙａ♪も実はカヴァー曲で、オリジナルは1952年に、ハンク・ウイリアムスが書いたカントリーナンバーなのだそうだ。ファッツ・ドミノやジェリー・ルイスの大御所も取り上げているが、僕は中学の頃からカーペンターズのオリジナルだと思っていた。
それで意味はネットで検索すると、
